This week, Marine Tech Robotics is delivering in Brest the first bathymetric drone to the French Navy, following a contract that could extend up to 20 units.
Derived from the RSV Dolphin range, this surface drone is equipped with a high-resolution 3D bathymetric system, as well as a mission programming and supervision system featuring both manual and autonomous modes, combined with obstacle avoidance capabilities.
At the heart of the Brest naval base, Marine Tech also provided training for operators from the CEPN (Naval Programs Expertise Centre), the SHOM (French Hydrographic and Oceanographic Service), and the DGA (French Defence Procurement Agency).
Marine Tech would like to once again thank the DGA, SHOM, and CEPN for their trust.
