Marine Tech unveils "Sentinel"

After several months of R&D, we are proud to present Sentinelle, our new tethered aerial drone device.

This system – consisting of a quadcopter, a landing platform and an automated winch – allows for prolonged and secure aerial deployment from a moving ship.

Designed to withstand the most hostile marine environments (spray, strong wind, humidity), Sentinelle pushes the limits of the use of onboard drones.

Its ability to take off and land dynamically on a moving ship was made possible following the development of autopilot software coupled with innovative automated winch technology.

These are the aspects that differentiate Sentinelle from other solutions. The first concrete application: the French Navy has acquired the first unit of this solution, which is new to France.

The drone can carry different types of payloads: Long-range stabilized cameras with infrared, target tracking, communication relays to increase the range and throughput between units of a naval air group.

Unlimited autonomy, immune to jamming, discretion, Sentinelle is the future of onboard surveillance, at the service of maritime sovereignty.

Already available as a kit for the marine version, a version for land operations is currently under development.
